DFAT cables released under FOI show Scott Morrisons proposal to move Australias embassy in Israel was reckless, ill considered and entirely driven by his desperation to win votes in Wentworth.
The cables show DFAT scrambling to advise embassies to take security precautions and consider if the announcement, which had already been given to the media, would affect travel advice for Australians.
The cables expose the sheer recklessness of Mr Morrison and his disregard for the safety and security of Australians overseas.
A prime minister driven by chaos and division to put his self interest before the national interest and play partisan politics with foreign policy cant be trusted to run the nation.
