Robb Plays Politics with Australia's Trade Policy

04 September 2014

The Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb has today deliberately misrepresented Labors position on the Korea-Australia Free Trade Agreement (KAFTA).
Labor supports trade because it provides jobs and growth for Australia.
We have a strong track record over the last 30 years of support for trade liberalisation.
Instead of playing partisan politics over trade, Mr Robb should address issues identified by Liberal, National and Labor members in the report of the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties.
